MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN WAYGROUND UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN IPAS MATERI KERAGAMAN BUDAYA

Abstract

Indonesia’s cultural diversity is a national asset that should be introduced from an early age. Conventional teaching methods result in suboptimal student engagement. This situation can impact students’ learning outcomes during instruction. This study aims to examine the implementation of Wayground-based learning media to improve students’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject. Cultural diversity serves as the primary focus of this research. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method at MI Darul Quran Ngurangan. The research subjects consisted of 20 fourth-grade students. The results showed that the average pretest score was 68%. The posttest results showed that the average score increased to 91%. These data indicate a 23% improvement in student learning outcomes. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the Wayground media also increased student engagement. This media helps teachers conduct the assessment process more effectively. The research findings indicate that Wayground is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes. This improvement is particularly evident in the IPAS subject, specifically regarding the cultural diversity material.
